So I’ve been Catholic all my life, and yet the fact that prayers are actually answered is some strange and wonderful thing of which I am still somewhat suspicious.

No need to be suspicious. God is good and he continues proving it to you. I’m still amazed at some of his answers, though—even though I knew he’d answer me so I ought not be surprised. I still just have to sit back in awe of him sometimes. :)

So true! Why do I keep second guessing the answers to my prayers? Especially to 1 of the things I’ve always wanted & now finally have. Why am I so suspicious of such an obvious gift from God?!
